July 25th 2019
Dear All
We will have a dinner on the 31st July 2019, at Picassa in Lyngby.
Many things to celebrate!

We received DTU Discovery and BAA Bioinnovation Institute grants!
Moreover, I am honored to receive a prestigious Capes prize that brings me as a Visiting Professor to Brazil, in November 2019.
There I will work on theoretical framework for nucleic acid interactions at ultralow concentrations in collaboration with an expert in the field Prof. Gerald Weber, at the Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG), Reitoria.
In July, we have an honor to host Prof. MD Hanlee P Ji from Stanford University, CA, USA.
Prof. Ji works on the clinical side of oncology and on advanced genomic technologies.
His profile can be found here:

Prof. Ji will give a talk at DTU Chemistry on the 31st August, 11.00-12.00.
Talk title: In vitro CRISPR multiplexed targeting for evaluating complex genomic DNA structure and sequences
Last, we are about to install our new DNA/RNA oligo synthesis machine, 8 column Biosset ET-800. We very much look forward to get started the new machine, planned in August 2019.

Best regards
Kira
